Telemedicine, or virtual health, has been an underused approach to patient care, despite a clearly stated patient preference for it. The reasons for this have been numerous and varied, but in this time of crisis, telemedicine is emerging as a way to fulfill the current need for social distancing while providing appropriate, continued care.
